HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE, DELICIOUS OATMEAL-BASED BREAKFAST

  1. Buy Quaker’s old-fashioned oatmeal, or any brand you prefer.
  2. Measure out 1/3 cup*
  3. Put about 2.5 TBSP skim milk, or until the milk is surrounded most of the oatmeal. Place in the microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
  4. Add chopped almonds and slices of banana
  5. Serve with green tea and a chocolate dipped coconut LUNA bar and enjoy! :)

*Add more or less, based on how much you want to eat.

Gorgeous 90 degree day in SoCal. Made whole grain oatmeal with sliced apples and granola drizzled with almond milk for breakfast! So delicious. Gonna eat breakfast, work out, get ready for the day and enjoy my first day off with absolutely nothing to do in weeks. It’s been so long I don’t even remember when I last had a day like this.

I eat a lot of oatmeal, but it's time to take it to the next level. I am searching through the Tumblrverse for some tasty inspiration.
